Amreena is a qualified trade mark attorney and a member of the Chartered Institute of Trade Mark Attorneys (CITMA).
She graduated from Nottingham Trent University with an LLB (Hons) in Law and subsequently completed the Legal Practice Course (LPC) in 2012. Amreena went on to qualify as a Chartered Trade Mark Attorney in 2025 after obtaining the relevant qualifications from both Queen Mary University, London, and Nottingham Law School.
Prior to joining Gateley IP in June 2026, Amreena gained extensive intellectual property experience through roles as a Senior Patent and Trade Mark Formalities Paralegal and during her training contract with firms across the East Midlands.
How do you help clients?
I concentrate my practice in trade mark law and handle all aspects of practice such as helping clients with trade mark strategies, selection, clearance, prosecution of applications through to registration. I have experience in handling the maintenance of registrations, management and enforcement of registrations including negotiating commercial settlements in disputes as well as IP audits and transactions in the UK, EU and Internationally across a broad range of industry sectors.
